DMCA Policy
Fruit Compote is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its services to do the same. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.
This policy outlines the information required to submit a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and how to submit a Counter-Notification.
Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
If you believe that your copyright-protected work has been copied and posted on the Fruit Compote website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement to our designated Copyright Agent. Please provide the following information in your notice:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Fruit Compote to locate the material (e.g., a specific URL where the material can be found).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit Fruit Compote to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted on the Fruit Compote website was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notification to our designated Copyright Agent. Please provide the following information in your counter-notification:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Fruit Compote may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
